About The House of the Lord of the Apostolic Faith.
HOTL was founded in 1981 by Bishop Joseph Benjamin Rogers. The church has since built it's foundation on the principals of God's word, and the concept of Reconciliation over Condemnation; just as Jesus taught during his time on earth. John 8:7 "So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
The House of the Lord of the Apostolic Faith headquarters are located in District Heights, MD. Recently the church has expanded into the South, where they have opened another sanctuary under the leadership of Pastor Clark, of Dillon, South Carolina. Since opening their doors in 1981, they’ve acquired a reputation of love, and great hospitality, treating not only their members, but guest as their extended spiritual family.
In 2015 the church will embark on a major construction project, which will involve building a large sanctuary on land acquired in 2012. This will open doors for the organization to widen their reach in the community. Some of their plans will include such things as, feeding the homeless, back to school backpack drives, family counseling, community bible vocation school for the summer, clothes drives for the needy, Brotherhood brunches once a month, Sisterhood Seminars, marriage seminars, tutoring, parenting classes for young mothers, and so much more!
